FOREST VIEW VETERANS MEMORIAL COMMITTEE
Our Village was founded in 1924 exclusively by veterans of World War I. More than a century has passed, and it is long overdue to erect a memorial to honor all those who have served in the U.S. military throughout the years.
The Village Board has designated the vacant lot at 4601 Wenonah (across from the Fire Station) to be the location for the new Forest View Veterans Memorial.
Our fundraising goal is $75,000 to complete Phase 1 for dedication this Veterans Day, November 11, 2026.
- Mike Grossi - Committee Chair
- Laura McGuffey - Committee Chair
- Tim Kutt - Project Manager
- John Marbes - Resident Veteran Advisor
